Cooking Light Magazine recommends our 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours as a “Wine to Pair with Roast Chicken”
From the article, “RECOMMENDED: Consider a Syrah from California’s Central Coast, where the wine develops juicy blackberry and violet notes to accompany the varietal’s peppery overtones. These savory reds provide a lip-smacking foil to the roast chicken and lend a cozy heartiness to the entire meal.

Layden Robinson recommends our 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours
“With an aroma of toasted oak on the nose, this Central Coast Syrah expresses dark juicy fruit, plum, sweetened black licorice, anise and dried herbs on the palate. Smooth and consistent throughout, this medium bodied red is a great value for under $20.
Keep Drinking and Keep Believing.
Many thanks to Layden for the nice comments and for recommending our 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours on his blog.
Examiner.com recommends our 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours
“I consider Andrew Murray Vineyards one of the most well priced wineries around. As Andrew Murray states, “There is no ego pricing involved”. My favorite was the newly released 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours a truly balanced jammy wine at an exceptional value of $16. I find all of Andrew Murray’s wines drinkable, consistent and well balanced.”
Many thanks to Cori Solomon for recommending our 2011 Syrah Tous les Jours in her Stars of Santa Barbara article.

Wandering Wino Top 10 Super Bowl Wine Pairings
2010 Syrah Watch Hill Vineyard named to the list!
Top wines of 2012 – There are wines to save up and splurge, wines to stand upright in your cellar when company visits to show off that ’45 Bordeaux. Then there are the wines for the people in the villages…..like me.
This is the Wandering Wino second edition of wines that blow up your skirt. As I stated in last years post, I am not a cross dresser, but this is a simply American phrase used to say these are wines I really like and stood out to me. These are wines that are mostly available without the need for a blood hound.
Wandering Wino Top 10 Super Bowl Wine Pairings
“Saying the word “Superbowl” instantly gives thoughts, feelings and images to many of us. I view the Super Bowl as a special holiday that includes: friends, family, food, alcohol, commercials, and maybe even acid reflux. Maybe it would be better said if I just used the word “party.”
Whenever there are parties that involve feeding large groups of people, I often begin to think about the “how.” I look for ways to provide tasty foods that are easy preparation, wines that pair, and if possible not to break the bank.

I am really happy to report that Wine Spectator just awarded our 2010 Syrah Terra Bella Vineyard 93 Points in their January 9, 2013 Insider Newsletter. Here is what James Laube had to say, “Pure rich and layered, with dark, vivid, snappy, wild berry, spice and pepper notes. Smoothes out on the finish, ending long and lingering. ” This is exciting news indeed…Did you know that our past 3 vintages have all garnered nothing but 91+ point scores…5 of them in all. We are quite proud of this wine! Hope you get to try some before it is all gone.
We really enjoyed reading the thoughtful post from sólosyrah, on our 2010 Syrah Watch Hill Vineyard… From the post: “There’s a dry earth aroma along with some floral, plum, and hints of bacon. Bright strawberry and some brininess also come through on the nose for me. The palate is full but light on its feet with a great little punch of acidity on the finish. Those bright red fruit flavors carry through to the finish, and there’s also a bit of oak but it’s pretty integrated. I’m happy to report that this is a great example of cool-climate Syrah.” Read the rest of this great wine review by clicking here.
