We are extremely proud to release the 2020 vintage of our Heritage Collection - small lot Syrah bottlings inspired by Old-World Classics, informed by 30+ years of winegrowing experience, and crafted to show off the splendor of our Estate.
We were beyond thrilled when acclaimed wine critics unanimously agreed that these bottles were amongst the best we have ever released. Big dreams, careful farming, tiny yields, unwavering focus, and a relentless pursuit of perfection has yielded these stunning bottles of wine.
What makes these bottles even more special to us is that they were also inspired by our amazing children - Callum and Estelle - with their particular lots echoing and amplifying aspects of their unique personalities. Only 50 cases of each wine were crafted. We sincerely hope that you bring them into your cellars to help mark and celebrate life's most special moments.

Variety: 100% Estate Syrah - Clone 383
Style: 100% Whole Cluster Fermentation
Aging: 50% New French Oak for 18 months and 12 months in bottle.
Inspiration: The bold, complex, nuanced, and ageworthy wines of Cornas and Hermitage.
Critical Acclaim
Vinous: Antonio Galloni
The 2020 Syrah Estate Grown – Lot C, inspired by Andrew Murray’s son, is 100% Syrah done with 100% whole clusters. Dark-toned fruit, leather, sice, tobacco, and dried flowers abound. The stems aren’t especially evident, but this is very much a savory style build on brooding power more than forward fruit.

Variety: 90% Estate Syrah - Clone 471, 10% Viognier
Style: 100% Destemmed
Aging: 50% New French Oak for 18 months and 12 months in bottle.
Inspiration: The high-toned, fragrant, and delicate wines of Cote-Rotie.

The 2020 Syrah Estate Grown – Lot E, inspired by Andrew Murray’s daughter, is 90% Syrah and 10% co-fermented Viognier. Floral and light on its feet, the 2020 is incredibly gracious. Shades of blood orange, red-toned fruit, mint, spice, and rose petal all grace the 2020. The richness of the year comes through in the ripe profile, but the Viognier offers an attractive balance.
